What is the Dyson Student Experience Team?

The Dyson Student Experience Team is made up of offices and individuals within the Charles H. Dyson School of Applied Economics and Management and the SC Johnson College of Business who are dedicated to providing support, programming, and services to enhance the overall Dyson student experience.

STUDENT SERVICES
& ADVISING

The Dyson Office of Student Services and Advising serves as the main point of contact for Dyson undergraduate students and provides a full range of support services, resources, and referrals.

Academic advisors from the Office of Student Services and Advising assist students with short- and long-term course planning, verification of degree requirements, connection to on-campus academic and well-being support services, and general support.

The goal is to help students in developing a supportive network that will continue to expand as they build connections with other faculty, staff, and alumni. It is vital for students to develop meaningful relationships their academic advisor.

The Office of Student Services and Advising manages the summer on-boarding process for new students as well as fall orientation, commencement, and many other student-facing events.

Dyson School students are recruited by top employers in the private sector for careers in banking and finance, marketing, management, consulting, accounting, auditing, retailing, sales, and operations, as well as for positions in the public and nonprofit sectors. You'll have opportunities to interview with global industry leaders, startups, non-profits, and government organizations through on-campus recruiting and a diversity of other networking avenues, from career treks to conferences to spontaneous meet-and-greet sessions in our new, state-of-the-art Collaboration Zone.
