In this interactive session, participants will be guided through the Liz Ngonzi Transforms ICAT (Inspire, Connect, Activate and Transform) Coaching Framework and the distinctive approach to storytelling that it incorporates. Using those tools, participants will endeavor to achieve greater clarity about their purpose and translate that understanding into the framing of their personal story – the story that is delivered through the decisions one makes, the friends and colleagues with whom one associates, how one communicates with the public and the vocation one pursues. An overarching theme of the session is that clarity of purpose leads to clarity of mind, which contributes to enhanced wellness and a greater capacity to impact others. As pre-work, participants will watch Ms. Ngonzi's 2013 TEDxCornellU Talk, "Want your enterprise to change the world? Start with yourself!", which recounts part of the journey she has taken to align her purpose with her paycheck.

Storytelling is in Liz Ngonzi's DNA. Her late father, Dr. John Ruganda, was Uganda's preeminent dramatist, and her mother, Hilda Rwabazaire Paqui, was an on-air Ugandan television personality and later a senior communications official with the United Nations Development Programme -- sharing stories of people around the world whose lives were impacted by UNDP activities. Like them, Liz believes in the power of stories to transform people's lives.

Liz is an international executive coach, social entrepreneur, educator, and speaker, and she helps purpose-driven leaders worldwide to clarify, develop and share their stories in order to increase their impact.
She believes that when you share your story, you invite others to learn what makes you unique, and you inspire them to support you…thereby amplifying your voice and enhancing your visibility.

As an Executive Coach, through her firm, Liz Ngonzi Transforms, she enables purpose-driven leaders worldwide to define and tell their stories, accomplish their objectives, and align their paycheck with their purpose. Through the Bank of America Institute for Women's Entrepreneurship at Cornell University, she facilitates online courses for and coaches women entrepreneurs on their venture creation journey.

As a social entrepreneur, last year Liz founded The International Social Impact Institute, which – through initiatives with the King Baudouin Foundation US; Nelson Mandela University (South Africa); Hunter College, City University of New York; the Arcus Foundation (US); and The Resource Alliance (UK) – aims to amplify the voices of social impact leaders from historically marginalized communities (in the US and around the world), facilitate interactions among such leaders and assist in training more of them.Liz earned a Master of Management in Hospitality degree from the Cornell University School of Hotel Administration and a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems from Syracuse University's iSchool, and graduated from the United Nations International School, which she attended K through 12.
