Subject: Dyson Digest - Nov. 3rd - PRE-ENROLLMENT UPDATES

Please read carefully!

SENIORS

  • We are aware of concerns about enrollment in Grand Challenge Project courses and we are actively working on solutions. If you are a spring 2023 graduate, you do not need to worry about graduating, we just ask for your patience.

  • Please note, if you were trying to combine the Grand Challenge and the Diversity requirement and you were not able to enroll in the course that covers both, you should move forward with enrollment in a free-standing Diversity course.

NON-SENIORS

The Dyson Registrar is continuing to work on additional bulk enrollments for some of the core Dyson courses:

  • AEM 2010 – Spreadsheet Modeling
  • AEM 2240 – Finance
  • AEM 2420 – Marketing
  • AEM 2700 – Management Communication
  • Multiple Grand Challenge writing courses.

If you have not been enrolled in one of these courses, please emailed Dyson_registrar@cornell.edu. You can verify what you have been bulk enrolled in already on Student Center.

CORE COURSE SWAPS

  • While there will be a chance for some swaps to be made with CORE courses, those will not be considered just yet. The process for requesting swaps will be shared soon. Please do not email those requests yet.

ALL STUDENTS

  • Patience Requested
I am unexpectedly out dealing with a family emergency in NC and the Student Services and Advising Team has been working tirelessly to make sure that all students questions and concerns have been addressed. I do ask for you to be patient with everyone.

  • How to get an email reply
As a quick reminder, please ONLY email one address in our office with a questions or concerns. The best option is to email Dyson_Registrar@Cornell.edu with specific course-related questions but do not copy Nicole on that email as well.

  • If you have other concerns, especially about the current semester, please email Dyson_OSS@Cornell.edu. Both of those accounts are checked very frequently, and your email is directed to the correct person for an answer.
