I hope each of you had a relaxing long weekend!
As we get back into the swing of things for a month before fall break, it is time to take a few minutes to review your fall course schedule. You are ultimately responsible for verifying your course enrollment, graduation requirements, number of course credits, and course sections multiple times throughout the semester.
Today is the final day to add a course for the fall 2022 semester! No courses will be added after the deadline.
If you are enrolled a Course Assistant (CA) this semester, double check the credits you are enrolled in officially on Student Center. If there are issues, reach out to Dyson_Registrar@cornell.edu.
All students should review their official schedules in Student Center (not Scheduler or anywhere else) to make sure all of their courses, credits, etc are correct!
Reach out to the Dyson Office of Student Services & Advising if you have any questions or concerns. Ask for help from your faculty or Course Assistants (CAs) early and utilze Faculty Office Hours.

LAST DAY TO ADD FALL 2023 COURSES
Tuesday, September 5th is the deadline to add a course for the fall 2023 semester.
CANVAS ACCESS WILL END ON SEPTEMBER 5TH If you are not officiallyadded to the course by the Tuesday, September 5th add deadline, your access will be removed.
SPECIAL STUDIES ENROLLMENT
Make sure to complete the online application for independent study/undergraduate research/teaching assistant (course assistant) will be available through Experience Cornell. Please search for the following form titles:
Once the application is submitted and fully approved, you will receive a Permission Number by email. You must self-enroll in the course through Student Center(search by the Class Number) – you are not enrolled in the class until it is on your Student Center schedule. Please pay careful attention that you enter the approved number of credits and grade option when enrolling. If enrolling in a special studies course or TA course puts you over your maximum credit limit, you will be required to complete a petition before the enrollment for the special studies enrollment can be processed.
Petitions to ADD a special studies course will not be accepted after the deadline, NO exceptions even if you have been working the full semester.
TRIPLE-CHECK THAT YOU ARE ENROLLING IN THE CORRECT NUMBER OF CA CREDITS!
