WARREN HALL SENIOR DISPLAY

We are excited to be putting together a poster highlighting every senior in Dyson that will be hung on the first floor of Warren. In order to do so, we need to collect a bit of information to include about you.

This link will bring you to a survey asking for your name, concentration/s, favorite class at Dyson, favorite memory at Dyson, LinkedIn profile, and a headshot. If you do not feel comfortable being highlighted on the wall of Dyson, you will ibe able to ndicate that on the survey too.

The purpose of this poster is to recognize your time here at Cornell and share that with the Dyson community. Our aim is for everyone to fill out the survey, so please take 5-10 minutes to do so when you have the chance. The deadline for completing this survey (and being included in the poster) is
Tuesday, September 20th.

FALL 2022 - SECOND 7-WEEK COURSES

AEM4665 Business Management Simulation
MW 1:00 – 2:15 from Oct 17 – Dec 5.

Are you looking to practice running your own company? Professor Sauer will be offering a 1.5-credit business simulation course specifically for AEM majors later this fall and we would like you to be a part of it. You will work as part of a team to manage a simulated manufacturing company, making yearly decisions in four broad areas: sales, marketing, operations, and finance. You and your competitors will all start in the same position, competing with one another to gain market share, generate revenue, and increase profitability. The workload is pretty light and the competition is a lot of fun. Do you have a few friends who want to be on the same team? Bring ‘em along!

VOLUNTEER ANNOUNCEMENT FROM FELLOW DYSON STUDENT

Hello everyone, my name is Blaine McCollum and I’m a senior here at Dyson. For the past five years, I’ve been a volunteer firefighter in my hometown and am now a member of the Cayuga Heights Fire Department here in Ithaca. I attribute much of my success in life, my personal development, my closest friends, and even my acceptance to Cornell to my experiences in the fire service. For those of you who have always sought to challenge yourselves, while simultaneously fighting to improve the lives of others, being a Firefighter/EMT is the perfect opportunity to do both.

CHFD is now recruiting volunteer Firefighters/EMTs for our Fall 22’ recruit class. We provide Fire and Advanced Life Support EMS coverage to part of Cornell’s North Campus and to the surrounding areas. There is no experience necessary - we will train you! If you would like to learn more, please email us at membership@chfd.net or visit our website: www.chfd.net.
Come meet us at the service fair this Tuesday the 20th on the Arts quad from 13:00 - 16:00 or at our recruitment dinner on the 22nd.
