Hi all,

Happy last day of regular classes for the fall semester. It feels like it has gone so fast and so slow at the same time. I hope you are feeling accomplished and ready to face finals. Take advantage of the study break options for this week around Warren Hall. See below for details.

Important Reminders:

  • Fall 2023 Course Withdraw Deadline is Monday, December 4th.
No exceptions to this deadline. To request to withdraw from a course, you must complete a petition by Monday, December 4th at 11:59pm. Petition decisions will be emailed by Tuesday, December 5th.
  • Finals schedule
  • Pre-approval is required for courses taken off-campus.
Complete the Off-Campus Course Approval form on the Dyson Launchpad

The Dyson Office of Student Services and Advising will be open throughout most of the winter break. Continue to reach out to Dyson_OSS@cornell.edu with any questions or concerns.

END-OF-SEMESTER TIPS FROM CORNELL HEALTH

End-of-semester tips
We’re in the homestretch! Check out the Learning Strategies Center’s study and time management resources, and remember to build time in your schedule for self-care. Getting enough sleep (7-8 hours a night), nourishing your body with healthy food, and keeping stress in check will help support your academic success. Find more end-of-semester tips to help you finish the semester strong.

Healthy ways to manage stress
It’s normal to feel more stress than usual at this time of year, but finding healthy ways to manage stress can help you function at your best. Get some exercise (even a brisk walk counts!), take purposeful study breaks, try a 20-minute Let’s Meditate session, or practice 5-minute stress-busters. If you need support, drop into Let’s Talk to consult informally with a CAPS counselor, or connect with a Peer Mentor through EARS. More options for support can be found at Mental Health at Cornell.
