From: Date: October 15, 2023 Subject: Dyson Digest - October 15th - DROP DEADLINE ON MONDAY
Hi everyone,
Hope your weekend was nice and that you have taken time to enjoy fall in Ithaca.
Most importantly, tonight I want to remind you that Monday, October 16th at 11:59pm is the deadline for dropping a course with no record on your transcript or changing a course to/from S/U. This is a firm deadline and there will be no exceptions! Drop-In Advising tomorrow in Warren B34 will be from noon until 1 p.m. We will likely add more hours and will notify everyone via email tomorrow. First-year and transfer students can also speak with any advisor following AEM 1101.
This is a perfect time in the semester to take stock of where you stand in each course and readjust focus as needed to reach your academic goals. If needed, make the time to connect with your Professors and Course Assistants as well as campus partners including the Learning Strategies Center (LSC) and the Student Disability Services (SDS) office.
The Advising team in the Office of Student Services and Advising is also available to talk with you about options and strategies as well. If applicable, please feel free to connect with a Licensed Professional from Cornell Health or Let’s Talk (see below). Sign up for the Skorton Center for Health Initiatives CUFLourish Newsletter to learn more about workshops and other programs.
October is a busy time for the Dyson Community, please take a few minutes to review the amazing opportunities available to you soon.
If you have any questions, please contact the Dyson Office of Student Services and Advising at Dyson_OSS@cornell.edu.
Let’s Go Red! Take care of yourself and keep an eye on your friends.
