Subject: Dyson Finals Reminders

As finals start, I encourage you to pause and think about the semester.

While there have been many challenges, it is important to take time to reflect on our wins from the semester. Celebrating even small wins will help shift you to a positive mindset entering your finals or final projects.

Wins could include, improving your grades in a course over the semester, having an ah-ha moment about your future career, making a networking connection, a memorable time with friends, or a great meal. Wins look different for everyone, and they may also include times when you pushed yourself even though all you could do was put one foot in front of the other. Use these wins, even ones that seem little, as a springboard for bigger wins in the future.

The Student Services and Advising team is always happy to share in your wins, so if you want to email (Dyson_OSS@cornell.edu) some of your fall 2023 wins with us, please do!

Dyson Office of Student Services and Advising will be open throughout the break except when the university is closed from December 23rd through January 1st.

Good luck to those with finals and final projects and safe travels for your winter break. I hope you have a restful break and will be excited to see you in the Spring.

Congrats to our Fall 2023 graduates! We are very proud of you.
