Subject: Dyson Digest - Dec. 4 - Sweatshirts, deadlines, finals

Good luck to those who have finals this week. Make sure you get enough sleep, eat well, and continue to take care of yourself. Safe travels to everyone as you start to leave campus for the summer.

If you have completed your semester already, I hope you have a wonderful winter break. Be sure to take some time to relax and recharge.

The Office of Student Services and Advising will be closed from December 23rd through January 3rd. Otherwise, the office is open throughout the winter break and will be offering in-person and virtual appointments. I encourage you to reach out if you have any questions or concerns. If you are planning to complete a course during the winter break, make sure you complete the Off-Campus Course Approval form on the Dyson Launchpad.

Finish strong! We are so proud of your accomplishments this semester.

Share your opinion for a Dyson sweatshirt?

The Dyson School needs your input. A Dyson Faculty Curriculum Review Committee has been created to review our current Dyson curriculum and look toward the future of the school. This is where you come in. We ask that you think about your time at Dyson and complete the survey below to provide your feedback. Click here to be linked to the survey. If you have completed the survey already in a class, there is no need to do it again however, you must have your code to get a sweatshirt.

While the survey is anonymous, upon completion of the survey a unique code will be generated. If you screenshot that code and come to the Dyson Office of Student Services and Advising (Warren B34) starting at 1 pm on Monday, December 5th, or anytime until December 20th to pick up a Dyson sweatshirt like shown below.

If you have any questions, you can reach out to Dyson_oss@cornell.edu.

Thank you for your time and input!

WITHDRAW FROM A COURSE

If you are struggling in a course for whatever reason and feel you should drop the course or consider dropping, it's not too late! You can still withdraw from the course through Monday, December 5th.

All withdraws from a course will result in a 'W' notation on the official transcript.

The W is not a negative denotation and can be a good option depending on the situation. If you are interested to learn more about your options and the potential impact of withdrawing from one of your current courses, reach out to DysonOSS@cornell.edu or stop by our office in Warren B34.

Petition required - click here to complete now.

** You are not able to drop a course in which you are currently in the Academic Integrity process.
