Details
Cornell students are juggling an array of challenges from coursework, relationships, navigating campus life, to economic strain, social injustice, and various forms of loss. This community conversation is intended to destigmatize mental health and to provide support and a safe space to begin to normalize and prioritize mental health, just as we do with physical health.
David Lennox, senior lecturer of management communication at the Charles H. Dyson School of Applied Economics and Management, has teaching and research interests that focus on persuasion, visual communication, speech delivery, and intercultural communication. He holds a bachelor's degree, cum laude, with majors in English and speech communication. He also holds a master's degree in English from the Claremont Graduate School, and an MBA from the Peter F. Drucker School of Management at the same institution. Prior to joining Cornell, Lennox taught at Walla Walla College, the University of Washington, and Central Washington University-Lynnwood. He also served as a technical educator for Internap Network Services, and has consulted for organizations such as Kennedy Nelson Shultz Communications and the Port of Seattle.
