Office of Diversity and Inclusion (ODI)
Vision: The Charles H. Dyson School of Applied Economics and Management will be the premier school for a diverse and inclusive climate of belonging, successfully preparing graduates to address the business challenges of our diverse, interconnected world.
Mission: We strengthen diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging at Dyson through three intersecting areas that are central to fostering inclusive communities across difference and holistic student development: enrichment, engagement, and education. The Dyson Diversity Council sits at the intersection of these three areas.

Council Definition: An alliance of Dyson undergraduate and graduate student leaders, Dyson faculty, and Dyson administration to strengthen and promote diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging at Dyson; and to support the efforts of the SC Johnson College of Business as relevant to the Dyson School.

Council Vision: To create a better Dyson School that embraces and nurtures diversity in thought, actions, identity, and experiences of all stakeholders guided by the Diversity Council’s mission and purpose. Members of the Council will act as a representative channel for all stakeholders in the Dyson School to build strong connections internally with the Dyson School and externally with the SC Johnson College of Business and Dyson alumni.

Council Mission: The Diversity Council cultivates trust and community by identifying patterns in the student experience through open-dialogue communication amongst Dyson students, faculty, and staff. At its core, the Diversity Council members will act as agents of change and as a uniting support pillar to further promote the mission and vision of the Dyson Office of Diversity and Inclusion, cultivating an inclusive and equitable environment for all the Dyson School and by extension the SC Johnson College of Business at large.
