The Grand Challenges Impact Competition is a celebration of Dyson students, Grand Challenges Project Teams, and community partners. During this event, teams share their work and compete for their share of over $20,000 in prize money to support the impactful goals of their project partners!
This event is sponsored by the Impact Competition Foundation.
Event Timeline:
4:30 PM Door Open
5:00 PM - 5:10 PM: Opening remarks (Warren Hall 401)
5:10 PM - 5:50 PM: Pitches by four teams (Warren Hall 401)
6:00 PM - 6:45 PM: Judges deliberate, poster session and gallery walk, heavy appetizers (Warren Hall fourth floor lobby)
6:45 PM - 7:00 PM: Awards announced and closing remarks, celebration, and networking
Be sure to register to attend and show support for your classmates presenting their work!
This year, we are introducing the "Dyson Passport". For each Better Business Week event you attend, you will be entered into a raffle for 50 BRBs or $50 to the Cornell Store! The winner of the raffle will be announced at Friday's Dean's Distinguished Lecture, and you must hand in your passport in person on Friday to be considered for the prize.
